The Canary Association 29.04.2008 "German" Canary in Berlin held its annual general meeting. The applause of the members present, President Cristina Guerra-Diaz summarized that "the new board elected on 13.2.2007 has been busy with a lot of effort, enthusiasm and commitment to the organization of many interesting activities to make the Canarian culture Berlin better known, attractive and curious. We have been very popular. We thank the Regional Government of Canary Islands, andcultural participation in cultural events from islands in situ, development of partnership and cooperation with other foreign cultural organizations of the Atlantic and Latin America in Berlin, and find new sponsors and cultural partners in Berlin.
